Billings Dance Academy
Our Philosophy:

Growing Though Dance. We work to give each student a good foundation in dance regardless if they decide to pursue dance as a career, a college degree or just for fun. We believe dance to be a great experience for all, it not only improves coordination and physical strength, but also strengthens discipline and self- confidence which will carry over into all areas of life. We provide dancers with the experience and tools to love and appreciate the art of dance by teaching the physical skills, technique and expressive nature of dance. Classes are limited in size and created by ability to provide the best possible experience for each dancer and the curriculum is designed to carry each student forward in every class. Choreography and costumes are kept modest and age appropriate.  Our number one goal is the quality of dance education we provide for each and every dancer. We invite you and your dancer to be a part of this experience!

The Kind of Beauty that MOVES... Ani DiFrano

Performing is an exciting part of dance training.

Winter Performance

Our Winter Performance is an opportunity for our dancers to perform on the big stage more than just once a year. Past themes have included Cool Yule, At The Movies and A Winters Night Dream. We hope you join us this season for an Around The World dance experience!

*Costumes are provided by the studio and based around students dance attire for class. A costume rental fee is due in October.

Spring Performance

What makes Billings Dance Academy unique is the way we put together our Spring Performance, encompassing a broad range of dance styles and levels within the framework of theater. Storytelling, sets, acting and costumes combined with carefully selected music to create a classic story brought to life with dance as the primary component. This not only makes for an entertaining show, but also joins each class and student together to create a complete story. We believe this makes for the most positive and exciting performing experience possible and believe that this makes our shows much more entertaining for the audience. Our audience leaves with the feeling that they have truly been entertained. This unites our studio, our teachers, classes, dancers and parents, so that in the end we can all share and enjoy the experience together. Our past performances include: Little Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and The Wizard of Oz

* Dancers purchase beautiful professional costumes for each class. Cost range $45-$80 each. Combo classes order one costume for Ballet and a studio rental for Tap.
